Our pediatric team at Lewis Pediatrics have a collective 60 years of experience working with children from birth through adolescence, and we work hard to satisfy the needs of our patients.
The emphasis at Lewis Pediatrics is on having a staff that is sympathetic, informed, and helpful. For the purpose of addressing the unique requirements of newborns, young children, and teenagers, our staff is made up of highly qualified specialists who hold the highest degree of certification in pediatrics.

Our Pediatricians at Lewis Pediatrics
Edward D. Lewis, MD established his solo pediatric practice in 1981. He is a board-certified pediatrician in general private practice and a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine.
Sophia L. O’Rourke, MD
She received her M.D. from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. She completed her pediatric training at the University of Rochester and is now very excited to be joining Lewis Pediatrics! She lives in Brighton with her husband and daughter.

Bess C. Lewis, MSN, PNP has been certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 1990. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Rochester.

Harper, certified D.O.G. emeritus
Harper Lee Lewis joined our staff as a puppy July, 2014. She is an American Kennel Club certified American Fox Red Labrador Retriever. She graduated with honors from her puppy obedience school class. Although not a certified therapy dog, she provides comfort to children and teens who find coming to the office stressful.
